It’s interesting that three of the hippest pieces of startup advice align with minimalism.

But, what if this moment calls for Entrepreneurial Maximalism?

Our infrastructure is crumbling. Our manufacturing & supply chains operate just in time (or a tad late). Our popular culture has stagnated around the same hero movie franchises.

We need to study Henry Kaiser.

Kaiser started more than 100 companies. They were named Kaiser Steel, Kaiser Cement, Kaiser Shipbuilding, and Kaiser Aluminum.

He built ships for WWII, the Hoover Dam, and laid miles and miles of roads.

None of it was easy. Kaiser’s advice to his lieutenants was simple:

“Problems are just opportunities in work clothes.”

It’s time to get to work.
